From WSN’s founder

A message about why WSN exists.

We are survivors ourselves. We understand the reality of abuse, not just the moment of leaving, but what comes after: the confusion, isolation, loss of identity, and long, often invisible work of healing and rebuilding a life.

For many survivors, harm continues through manipulation, retaliation, enabling, and systems that do not recognize the full reality of abuse. Survivors can face ongoing harm, misinformation, and disbelief, including from people who mean well but do not understand.

Many survivors also lack the language to understand what happened or the support to move forward safely and sustainably. WSN was created to change that.

We are building a survivor-led ecosystem rooted in collective care, understanding grounded in experience, and sustained support through healing, rebuilding, and leadership. Survivors should be understood and have support shaped around their needs and choices.
